This article has show history of tea in distribution of species aspect, general knowledge about tea which has scientific name as Camellia sinensis and divide product of tea leaves to make beverages classified by the production process that have 3 groups are non-fermentd tea call white tea and green tea, semi-fermentd tea call oolong tea and fermented tea call black tea. By explain how to harvest, production process and popularity of tea consumer in each group. It also gives data of chemical in tea and results of aforementioned chemical compounds in the work of body and affects human health or tea pharmacology for example flavonoid, amino acid, vitamin, caffeine and polysaccharide including data table about nutrient content in tea and the needs of the human body.
