Beta-carotene is in carotenoids group can provide dark yellow to orange color. Lycopene can provide dark red color same as tomatoes color. From scientific research found that coloring substance from above are health benefits, help reduce risk of some disease, has antioxidant same as vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and some mineral. Two substances from above have widely recognized in food and drink industry. In Thailand, Food and Drug Administration has allowed to use above substance in food as additives in food coloring types.
