ในวิถีชีวิตของผู้บริโภคยุคใหม่ที่เร่งรีบ ความสะดวกและรวดเร็ว ถือเป็นเรื่องสำคัญทำให้ความต้องการบริโภคอาหารเปลี่ยนแปลงไป จากวิถีการบริโภคที่เนิ่นช้าเปลี่ยนมาสู่อาหารที่พร้อมบริโภคได้ทันที ที่เรียกว่าอาหารแช่เย็น-แช่แข็ง ฉลาดซื้อได้ร่วมกับโครงการเสริมสร้างความเข็มแข็งกลไกคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคความปลอดภัยด้านอาหารภาคประชาชนสุ่มสำรวจตัวอย่างพร้อมบริโภคชนิดแช่เย็นและแช่แข็ง จำนวน 76 ตัวอย่าง 3 กลุ่มอาหาร จากร้านสะดวกซื้อและซุปเปอร์มาร์เก็ต จำนวน 5 แห่ง เพื่อมาพิจารณาเปรียบเทียบการแสดงรายละเอียดจองชื่ออาหารและส่วนประกอบว่ามีความสอดคล้องหรือไม่ และพบว่า จาก 76 ตัวอย่างมี 29 ตัวอย่าง ที่แสดงข้อมูลได้ค่อนข้างดี อีก 47 ตัวอย่าง แสดงข้อมูลบนฉลากที่สร้างความสับสนให้กับผู้บริโภค บางรายการอาจทำให้เข้าใจผิดและเข้าข่ายการกระทำความผิดฐานแสดงฉลากไม่ถูกต้องโดยแบ่งตามลักษณะการกระทำความผิดได้เป็น 5 ลักษณะ คือ 1) ชื่ออาหารไม่สอดคล้องกับส่วนประกอบ 2) การแสดงชื่ออาหารไม่ได้บอกว่าอาหารนั้นทำมาจากอะไร 3) การแสดงชื่ออาหารไม่ชัดเจน 4) มีการแสดงฉลากอาหารสองชุด 5) มีชื่ออาหารทั้งภาษาไทยและภาษาอังกฤษ แต่ความหมายไม่ตรงกัน.

In the busy life of new age consumers, quick and easy is important and make demand of food consumption changing from slow eat change to ready to eat food called chilled - frozen foods. Cha Lard Sue in cooperation with the strengthening of consumer protection in food sector project survey frozen and chilled food products of 76 samples 3 food groups by random sampling from convenience stores and supermarkets 5 places. The objective is comparing the consistency of food label the result found that from 76 samples, there are 29 samples of food label that display data quite well. The other 47 samples display data on labels which may confuse to consumers. Certain items can be misleaded and deemed for commit an offense of wrong labeling. The kinds of offense are 1) names do not correspond to the ingredients. 2) Food name does not relate to raw material. 3) Food name is not clear 4) displayed two labels. 5) Food name are both in Thai and English but the definition does not match.
